The fire piston works as it should. No surprises.
The included ferro rod is kinda chintzy, but works. Good addition to my go bag as we live in a high forest fire area. Worth the money

The Scoutmaster is a very well built product that every prepper or outdoor enthusiast should have! it's very sturdy and easy to use. I sparked an ember on my first try, it comes with everything you need to make fire, including extra o rings. I highly recommend this product!
